Ehwhaz, Eh

November 11, 2014
This week's episode is on the Rune Ehwhaz, or Eh, depending on the system you are using.  It appears in the Elder Futhark, the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc, and the Armanen Futhorc, though in a different position and form.

This Rune is a powerful Rune that represents in the most literal sense "horse", but is far more than that!  It represents the relationship between the horse and the rider, and in a more intimate sense the relationship between spouses.  Looking at how each Rune builds upon the other in the initiatory process of awakening, we can see how that after we have gone through the process of gestation represented by Berkano, we come forth into our relationship with our Fetch that is akin to being "married".  In the past we had achieved contact with our Fetch, but had to go through the further initiatory process is represented by the runes in between to the point where it was no more just a simple contact but a relationship.  Now, with a balanced soul complex, we have entered into the level of consciousness where we are united with our Fetch and as an entire being we are now part of the evolutionary process of expansion!  This is such an important thing for a everyone to understand!  One cannot successfully use the Runes on a consistent basis in any practical workings unless there is a connection there to them and to our higher genius which the Fetch  represents.  All else is simple ego consciousness which is a hit in miss affair (and one that has the capability of causing us harm) while this state of consciousness above described is one where we unite that which is above to that which is below.  This means that we are enacting the very will of the Multi verse which is an entirely different level of power.  This is why I belabor the fact that a strong meditational practice where these types of connections are forged is the foundation of everything esoteric and even religious (as one needs to know the mind of the gods and goddesses as well as the wights of the land etc.) since without it we are just poor actors.

On this day where we remember so much, let us remember what it is to be free--or perhaps learn what it means to be free for the first time!  Remembering who we are--who and what we really are--is real freedom!
