Ingwaz, Ing
December 9, 2014
The broadcast release this week in the Runic Series is on the Rune: Ingwaz, or Ing.

This Rune is not found in the Younger Futhark or Armanen rows but is absorbed in other Runes that we will talk about later on in the series. This is a very important rune as they all are, but in a very special way that is unique in the system. This Rune is precious to the god Freyr, and is a masculine fertility Rune. Ing is actually the name of Freyr, as Freyr is a title that means "Lord", and he was the god of peace and plenty. He was a great god of our people and is still a great god. He was called the "god of the world" in that it was in his power to decide when the sun would shine and when it would not! Fertility and bountiful harvest was in the province of his authority. This Rune is a polar opposite in the sense of masculine and feminine to Berkano, which is a feminine fertility Rune relating to pregnancy and the sacred enclosure of the womb. The Rune we're talking about today, is more the conception or the seed of transformation. After the balancing of the soul complex in coming into right relationship, including the "Marriage" to the Fetch represented by Mannaz, and the deepest levels of connection to the Folk Soul (including the multi-verse itself) represented by Laguz, the result is this chrysalis of transformation we have before us today. This is where the inner conflicts are at an end and in the inner silence one has attained through these deep levels of connection, transformation is taking place where immortality is within the grasp of the soul complex itself. The initiation that Ingwaz or Ing brings about, is the transformation of the total being and the granting of understanding when coming out the other side, that gives the depth of the entire Runic system a whole new meaning. It also grants the proper ability to understand some of the deepest mysteries of the multi-verse that are represented by the next runes to come!
Until next time...
