Hail to all of you wonderful folk!

The episode that is being released today is on the last Rune of the 1st Aett or row called in the Elder Futhark Wunjo, and the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc Wynn. This Rune is the climax and culmination of the initiatory process represented by this 1st level in the Futhark systems of the Runes!

As you will notice its shape is like that of a standard or a flag. This Rune is the realization of so many things: Tribal Frith; the balancing of the soul complex; the finding of one’s place in the Folk Soul itself; the joy found in living in harmony with one’s fellow beings! It is a powerful, positive Rune and is in a sense the reward of the self-sacrifice described in the Rune Gebo we discussed last week. All of the Runes build on one another and are a part of an initiatory process that leads one to a full awakening to who they really are, and where they fit in with in the universal consciousness! As this is the end of the 1st layer of initiation in the Runic systems, it is also the preparation for the 2nd layer of initiation which starts with the Rune we will be discussing next week: Hagalaz. From this point things just get deeper and deeper and more and more primal to the consciousness of the universe itself – that part from which even the gods themselves spring!

Until Next Time...
